FIRST DAY: CITY TOUR The pick up time from the hotel will be at 13:00 hours to begin city tour; we will go to Cathedral of Cusco, where we will have the opportunity to visit 6 places, the first being the Cathedral religious place that owns paintings of the Cusquenian School and among other artistic expressions, then “Qoricancha” or Temple of the Sun, the most important religious center of the Inca period. Then we will go to the outskirts of the Cusco City to visit 4 important places; Saqsayhuaman where the INTI RAYMI or sun party is performed, Q’enqo zigzag place with slanted canals and sacrificial room, Puca Pucará administrative center with walls, terraces, stairways and Tambomachay place dedicated to the cult of water. Finishing our tour approximately at 18:30 hours. SECOND DAY: TOUR VALLEY OF SACRED The pick up time from the hotel will be at 08:00 hours, then we will go to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where we will visit the archaeological complex of Pisac, then visit the picturesque market of Pisac; We will continue by bus to Urubamba where we will have buffet lunch. We will continue the tour to archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo. Then we will board the train to Aguas Calientes, there is our overnight, and the next day we will visit the Wonder of the world “MACHU PICCHU”. THIRD DAY: TOUR DE MACHU PICCHU We will wake up early at 04:00 hours then we will take the bus to the Archaeological Complex of Machu Picchu, the control opens at 06:00 hours then we will have a guided tour of about 3 hours through on the site during which we will learn about the Inca culture and visit all the important areas of the citadel. After your tour you will have free time to explore the site and if you have entrance to climb either Huayna Picchu mountain (2 hours round trip) or Machu Picchu mountain (3 hours round trip), then return to the hot water city. In the afternoon, you will take the train back to Ollantaytambo (2 hours) from where you will continue back on our bus to Cusco (2 hours). FOURTH DAY: TOUR OF MARAS & MORAY The pick up time from the hotel will be at 08:00 hours then we will start the tour by our bus, observing the charming landscape of the Andes; we will visit the town of Maras, salt mines salt exploitation center, which was made from the Inca period, archaeological complex of Moray where we will appreciate its huge concentric terraces in a gigantic hole, which give life to a fabulous scenery and finally the complex archaeological site of Chinchero. Finalizing the tour 14:30 hours approximately. FIFTH DAY: TOUR DE VALLE SUR The pick up time from the hotel will be at 08:30 hours then we will go the south of the city of Cusco making stops in the following places: Tipón, in this archaeological group corresponding to the Inca period, you will see an exceptional hydraulic system, then Pikillacta, city from the pre-Inca period, built on the basis of stone walls, from the place we can observe the Huacarpay lagoon. Finally we will visit the church of Andahuaylillas considered the Sistine Chapel of America, which exhibits one of the most beautiful examples of colonial art, with golden altars, murals, paintings and polychrome ceilings. Finishing the tour 02:00 hours approximately.
